What’s Farm to Faculty? Properly, merely put, it’s utilizing domestically grown meals to each feed and train. At Neighborhood Sprouts, we convey diet schooling into Marietta colleges and use the sacred areas of gardening as a classroom for rising and studying. So, when October Farm to Faculty Month rolls round every year, we’re all about it!  

This previous October at Neighborhood Sprouts, our college students had a blast studying about, taste-testing, and having fun with their experiences with… PEPPERS! It was a real Pepper Palooza!  

We have been thrilled to work with just a few caring group pals, the Marietta Metropolis Faculty Diet division, classroom academics, the Cobb County Farm Bureau, Small Axe Peppers , and Georgia Organics to convey contemporary peppers to over 1,000 college students, demonstrating that the means to develop, put together, and eat this wholesome meals is inside our college students’ attain.
