- 1 kg watermelon cleaned and pitted
- 250 gr wheat flour sifted
- 150 gr brown sugar
- 80 gr walnuts chopped
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 100 ml olive oil
- 150 gr sesame seeds

Preheat the oven to 180° C/356° F with convection setting.

Place a colander over a bowl, add the watermelon, and, carrying disposable gloves, crush it together with your fingers to interrupt it into items. Pressure the liquid into one other bowl.

Add the flour, sugar, walnuts, honey, and cinnamon. Combine together with your fingers till the dough is uniform.

Spray a 35Ă—25 cm (~14Ă—10-inch) rectangular baking dish with olive oil and evenly sprinkle half the sesame seeds on the underside guaranteeing it’s utterly lined.

Unfold the pie dough evenly over all the floor of the dish, protecting the sesame seeds. Press it together with your fingers, sprinkle with the remaining sesame seeds, and bake for 40-45 minutes.
