McDonald’s introduces new Particular Version Gold Sauce, the chain’s tackle gold barbecue sauce, for a limtied time at taking part places nationwide beginning Wednesaday, September 3, 2025.
McDonald’s describes the brand new sauce as “a harmonious mix of vinegary North Carolina BBQ sauce infused with notes of honey, smoke and mustard.” A gold barbecue sauce is a mustard-based barbecue sauce that originates from South Carolina.
Particular Version Gold Sauce is supposed to pair nicely with the chain’s McCrispy rooster and is featured in three new menu objects:
– Particular Version Gold Snack Wrap – A McCrispy Strip, Particular Version Gold Sauce, shredded cheese, and shredded lettuce, wrapped in a comfortable flour tortilla.
– Bacon Particular Version Gold McCrispy – A McCrispy rooster filet, Particular Version Gold Sauce, applewood-smoked bacon, and crinkle-cut pickles, served on a toasted potato roll.
– Bacon Particular Version Gold Deluxe McCrispy – A McCrispy rooster filet, Particular Version Gold Sauce, applewood-smoked bacon, lettuce and tomato, served on a toasted potato roll.
You too can get a dipping cup of the brand new sauce with an order of McCrispy Strips or Rooster McNuggets.
