Quota cuts result in ‘main decline’ in cod exports from Norway in first six months


Norway has not exported such low volumes of frozen cod in the first half of a year for almost a decade.

With the lower quotas, landings of fresh cod fell sharply in the first six months through June, which led to the "major decline" in export volumes, said the NSC.
