In Conjunction with World of Espresso, Espresso Coalition for Racial Fairness (CCRE) Hosts The First Sip 2026

On April 10, the Espresso Coalition for Racial Fairness hosted The First Sip: a gathering centered on fairness, group, and connection inside the international espresso business. Held together with World of Espresso 2026, the occasion came about at The Psychological Bar within the San Diego Black Arts & Tradition District.

A spotlight of the night was the presentation of the Innovator’s Award to LaNisa Williams, founding father of Barista Life L.A.

Cimbali Group Pronounces Partnership With Mazzer

Espresso machine producer Cimbali Group and low grinder producer Mazzer have introduced a long-term partnership and unveiled the primary prototype of their Mazzer x Slayer grinder, which is able to formally launch available on the market in its last model on the 2026 London Espresso Competition.

“We’re proud to embark on this journey along with Mazzer, a associate with whom we share a deep imaginative and prescient of high quality and innovation on the earth of espresso,” Frédéric Thil, Managing Director of Cimbali Group, shared in a press launch.

Bala of Taiwan Wins 2026 World Latte Artwork Championship at World of Espresso San Diego

The 2026 World Latte Artwork Championship came about final weekend at World of Espresso San Diego. Representing Taiwan, Bala took residence the successful title with authentic free-pour designs together with a raccoon, giraffe, and purple panda. Different finalists had been as follows:

Runner-Up: Jacky Chang – Malaysia
Third: Zking (Zhang Yuanyi) – China
4th: Financial institution Sarawut – Thailand
fifth: Jay Kim – South Korea
sixth: Tatsuya Ishibashi – Japan

Espresso High quality Institute (CQI) Acknowledges Javier Hoyos Garcia of Colombia as Educator of the 12 months

At their latest thirtieth anniversary luncheon in San Diego, Calif., the Espresso High quality Institute introduced Javier Hoyos Garcia because the recipient of their 2026 Educator of the 12 months award. Starting his work as a CQI teacher in 2019, Javier has devoted a lot of his life to schooling as each an agronomist and a college professor.

“What I worth most is having the ability to share what I do know with individuals who want it. It’s unimaginable how a lot you’ll be able to affect or affect individuals’s lives by sharing information,” says Javier.
