On Tuesday, we posted episodes one and two of the documentary collection in regards to the 24 baristas who traveled to Caldas, Colombia, to study espresso, because of The Barista League’s Thriller Espresso Trip. Immediately, we current the following two episodes!
After profitable one of many many Barista League competitions that happened world wide in 2023 and 2024, baristas from 10 international locations earned an epic prize: a spot on the Thriller Espresso Trip 2024! The journey happened in September, with the baristas—a lot of whom had by no means visited a espresso farm—spending 5 days residing and dealing on the specialty espresso farm, Café Tío Conejo, within the division of Caldas, Colombia.
Beginning at dawn every day, the baristas explored the mountainside espresso farm, harvested and processed espresso, realized about packaging and transport, and shared their ideas on the whole lot from café work to roasting.
