Amid my custom of rye-wrangling, I forgot simply how fulfilling an ordinary sourdough loaf might be. Impressed by Borqui’s current remark, I attempted my hand at Jeffrey Hamelman’s Vermont Sourdough. OK, I used to be impatient (what else is new? I am The Impatient Baker®) and tousled the shaping a bit.
