Torikizoku, Japan’s well-liked izakaya and yakitori chain, is opening in Singapore.
The chain — recognisable by its vibrant yellow signboard — operates over 600 shops throughout Japan, the place it constructed a cult following with a flat-pricing mannequin: each merchandise on the menu, from rooster thigh and breast skewers to rice units and highballs, goes for 390 yen (roughly SGD 3.50).

The Singapore franchise can be run by Gohan Ideas, a three way partnership between FairPrice Group and F&B operator BHAG Pte. Ltd.

We first found Torikizoku years in the past once we travelled to Tokyo and we’ve been a giant fan of their yakitori and idea since then. We’re so stoked that it will likely be opening in Singapore!
Native pricing and an official opening date have but to be confirmed. We undoubtedly hope that the costs can be just like what they’re charging in Japan.
